DIY band from Cardiff, follow up to their two 2010 EP's 'Wimmy' and 'Celebrate This Place'. Illuminated People oofers an exciting mix of eclectic tracks, a mix of indie, post punk, dance and even folk (check 'A warrior Who Longs To Grow Herbs') If your after something that little bit different you couldn't go far wrong with these guys.
A A Bonby- Believers Listen/Buy
An album of understated beauty, former member of Grunge band Verbena and frequently compared to Nirvana due to their similar sound, this album couldn't be further from his roots. HIs first Solo effort was recorded in a barn close to his home, the album was picked up by Fat Possum and rekleased in 2008. This is one to stick on late at night preferably on vinyl
Believers moves along a nice slow pace, each track perfectly following the next, truly a thing of beauty

Nice quirky pop, filled with bittersweet balads, lots of hooks and 80 style synths, lead singer Caroline Polachek vocals have matured and moved up a level and with this new lineup Polachek's co founder ex boyfriend, left the group last year) Chairlift will go on to great things
